I graduated from Northwestern in 1981 and went to work as a Software Engineer for Lockheed Aircraft in 1982. I left software consulting at just the right time (just after the "Tech Wreck") I am now living in the Chicago area and working for a battery diagnostics and charging company. I have a wife (Cindy) and 3 kids, Bradley, 13, Elizabeth 11 and Brian 8. I have taken up distance running. I ran the Chicago Marathon in 1998, finishing in 4:59:09 (Under 5 hours!) and the Lake County Marathon in April 2000 finishing in 4:31:30. I ran the 2002 Cinncinatti "Flying Pig" Marathon and since then have restricted myself to shorter distances. I am now a den leader for my younger son's Cub Scout pack, Pack 43 in Buffalo Grove Illinois, and an Assistant Scout Master for Troop 401, also in Buffalo Grove.
