After spending twelve years on Cape Cod, I divorced my husband after 17 years and moved to Maryland with my son, who was eleven at the time. He is now turning 17. I plan to return to Cape Cod and begin a web design business once my son graduates from high school next year. He plans to be in the Boston area. (He prefers an urban/suburban environment to the Cape... not me. I long for the beaches and the beauty of Cape Cod!) Lately I have had an opportunity to travel, which has always been a lifelong dream. In the past year I visited a friend in England, and enjoyed a trip to Cancun at my employer's expense. So, things are going well for us. High School seems a lifetime away... and at the same time, it doesn't seem possible that it was thirty years ago! Approaching 50 certainly gives you a different perspective on life!
