I want to thank those of you who responded to my need when I asked anyone who remembered my husband, Douglas Haas (1977) if they would contact my son. My son William is in the Army and is stationed in Iraq. I've been working as a photographer and was in Africa twice reporting on the Lords Resistance Army and Child Soldiers, and the Batwa Indiginous People. I just graduated from the University of Pittsburgh last week, (Dec. 2007) So, Mr. Smedley was right, I was always a bit slower than everyone else... Perhaps I will stop getting married now as I'm slow to realize I have no luck in love... I do believe three's a charm though! I ran for city council in Slidell, La. and lost terribly, but won here for awhile on a Republican ticket. Missed seeing you all, till next time, God Bless Mari I would love to hear from you!
