After a BA from U. of Michigan and a year teaching in CA, moved to CT to attend Yale Law School and have been here ever since. Practiced civil rights law, got a degree in public health, and now teach at Yale (law and public health) and run a child advocacy organization I started in 1995. Along the way, did some consulting on public health and AIDS law in South Africa and China. With Gordon, my husband of 35 years, have three sons (Josh 32, Ben 28, and Dan 24), also are Yale grads and now also two grandsons and an eagerly-awaited granddaughter expected this summer.
