Spent the first 9 years of my career working with mentally ill prisoners on a psychiatric unit at Grateford State Prison (luckily never came across any classmates!) Needed a change (gosh why?) and have been an occupational therapist at The Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Germantown for the past ten years, working with special needs deaf children. The sign language part was tough to learn but I've honed my signing skills to the point where may hands can actually keep up with my mouth (no small feat for those who recall my gift of gab!) Married for 15 years and have a 13 year old son and an 8 year old daughter. Living in the country and enjoying life immensely.
