Where do I begin? Went to U. Penn where I met my wonderful wife Pearl Park and dated from Freshman year until we were married in 1994. Did a Master's at U. Penn before teaching history in Cheltenham. After that did a Master's in Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School near Chicago and was ordained as a Presbyterian (PCA) pastor. Then worked and lived in Nagoya, Japan. Then a Master's in Japanese studies at Harvard when our first daughter Hannah was born. Then Mikaela was born, then Eowyn, then Elliot (daughter #4!) and then in June 2008 child #5 - a son Michael Jr. Finished my PhD at U. Penn and am serving as president of Christ Bible Institute and Seminary in Japan a graduate school in theology. We're in Philly from time to time. Sorry to all my friends for being so out of touch!
