It would almost seem as though any time that you might look back on, appears to be more "golden" than the time we are currently caught up in. Moments rarely seem special as they are happening. I'm not saying that we never realize them as they are happening, obviously there are things that we true heartedly "appreciate" when they are going on.
My life kind of reads like a book, with several chapters. Each chapter seems very bland as it's being written. There is a part in every chapter, when I find myself looking back, and longing for the old times. With that being said, I sometimes miss those times, when I did nothing more than long for the past. What I mean by that, is that sometimes I want to go back 10 years, but 10 years ago, I just wanted to go back 10 years then too. Everything that we hold on to gets more special with age. Usually, the further back we go, the more "golden" it was.
I say that growing up, is a death sentence. Life is just a long walk down death row. We all know that the story has an ending, it's the same ending for all of us. We are here to serve a purpose though... everything you touch, feel, hear, see, smell, and everything that you will dream, think, and learn, will be passed on. Your mind is a computer, wired into the greater consciousness. You will take in information every waking moment of your life, and process it into thought. The thought acts as an energy source, to keep the brain computer running. Your brain processes that energy, and the waste product becomes your personality. The personality then recycles itself, as you interact with others. You can share thoughts with people, you can share emotion with people too. When you send out love, you create as positive ripple effect the whole way through the chain of which I just spoke of. If you send out negative energy, that too will create a ripple effect through out the chain. The chain is "unbroken" so when you get to the end of your own story, and the last word has been written, the story remains as a part of that greater conciousness.
